121 Reasons I Love Music: 45-55

  1. Some nights I fall asleep to sweet, pretty songs. “There It Was” by Gomez.
  2. Some mornings my very first thought is “I need music.” “Dream Machine” by Mark Farina featuring Sean Hayes.
  3. Road trips are that much better with a soundtrack. “October” by Broken Bells.
  4. When I need a push during my workout I can find the right song to do it. “Is It Any Wonder?” by Keane.
  5. Putting Spotify on random reminds me of wonderful and random music I’ve added over the past few months. “Green Eyed Love” by Mayer Hawthorne.
  6. Karaoke. “Joey” by Concrete Blind.
  7. Jam sessions with my uncle, my cousin, and my dad. “I Turn My Camera On” by Spoon.
  8. Two of my favorite loves can come together harmoniously beards and bands.“Sunset Soon Forgotten” by Iron and Wine.
  9. Music I know isn’t good, can still be good in the right moment. “Price Tag” by Jessie J featuring B.o.B.
  10. I’m sure some songs should be my theme song, even if it ain’t so flattering “Fragile Bird” by City and Colour.
  11. There are some songs I just want to make the rest of the world, or at least San Diego, listen to. “I’m Not Gonna Let You Go” by Grand Tarantula.
